METHOD First, check for high ground levels, leaking gutters and downpipes, water leaks. A Damp Proof Course must be at least 6 inches (150mm) above abutting ground level (whether on the internal or external side of a solid, external wall), to avoid splash up or 'bridging'. Having chosen the correct levels, drill 12mm diameter holes and blow or vacuum out the dust. Use one trigger pull for 4.5 inch (115mm) thick walls, two trigger pulls for 9 inch (230mm) thick walls.
