Crack Repair - in masonry and render

Epoxy Putty Method
Cut out the cracks with a masonry grinder to form square edged slots and remove all dust and debris with a vacuum or compressed air. Apply Epoxy Primer liquid and whilst tacky lay in the non-shrink, structural epoxy - Mouldable Epoxy Putty.
This method is ideal for cracks in stone and concrete cills, steps, wall render, floors and decorative stone. Hand place and smooth with water.
Grind out the crack and remove the dust. Mix the two part putty in gloved hands and place into Epoxy Primer.

This method is ideal for larger holes in stone and concrete cills, steps, wall render, floors and decorative stone. Hand place using a trowel.

Modified Cement-based flexible Mortar Method

Cut out the cracks with a masonry grinder to form square edged slots and remove all dust and debris with a vacuum or compressed air. Damp thoroughly with fresh water and whilst damp lay in the non-shrink, structural mortar - W60 Mortar
This method is ideal for brick and stone walls, where you can use the special plastic mortar Tool to insert the mortar into the ground out slots. After insertion smooth using pointing tool.

Crack Stitching - in stonework and brickwork - eliminate the reason for the crack first

Repair stepped cracking in brick or stone walls

Cut out every third mortar course up to 500mm each side of the vertical crack with an angle grinder, to 2/3rds of the brick/block or stone depth. Remove all debris and dust, using a vacuum or compressed air. Injection a bead of Thixotropic Epoxy Resin or Thixo Rapid and insert the epoxy/glass rod. Apply another bead to cover. Re-point in a matching material. Fill the vertical crack with a flexible filler or mortar.
Stepped cracking - check for cause - cut out and vacuum, then insert epoxy glass or stainless bar & resin.

Drill a 5mm - 10mm diameter hole into the crack every 100mm to the depth of the layer. Inject Thixotropic Injection Resin until it exudes from the next hole.
